Anthony Mansaray
Founder and Team Leader
Anthony Mansaray is the Founder and Team Lead at RAMLabs and a Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He brings over 15 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of research, monitoring and evaluation, accountability, and learning systems, with work spanning global health, education, governance, gender, and humanitarian response. His previous roles include positions with International Non - Governmental Organisations across Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Ghana. LSHTM where he leads social science research in Sierra Leone on vaccine confidence, outbreak preparedness, and epidemic response, including contributions to the EBOVAC and PREVAC Ebola vaccine trials. He also lectures in the Department of Global Health and Development and is pursuing a PhD in Public Health and Policy as a Commonwealth Scholar.
Through RAMLabs, Anthony leads collaborations with international partners, including the University of Chicago, UC Berkeley, the London School of Economics, German Doctors, Oxfam, Invest Salone, and Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Health, to deliver rigorous research that informs both policy and practice. He has supported multiple randomised controlled trials and social science studies, trained and mentored hundreds of professionals, and contributed widely to academic outputs in various journals. With a master’s degree in Sustainable Development and currently pursuing a master’s in Public Health, Admay brings over a decade of experience in program design, evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
His expertise includes data analytics, research design, strategic partnerships, and capacity building, with proficiency in tools such as STATA, SPSS, and SurveyCTO to drive evidence-based decision-making and policy influence.
Fatu Emilia Conteh
Health Research Specialist
Fatu is a Health Research Specialist at RAMLabs with over 14 years of experience in designing and implementing research, particularly using Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) and other methodologies. Her expertise spans various health interventions, including social incentives to enhance childhood immunization, vaccine confidence initiatives, vaccine information and misinformation interventions, and informal market research.
A Registered Nurse with over five years of service in both public and private health facilities, Fatu holds a degree in Development Studies and is currently pursuing a Master's in Research and Public Policy. She has extensive experience in managing research projects, overseeing project and field teams, and fostering strong relationships with key partners.
Fatu is proficient in statistical software such as Stata, SPSS, Kobo, and SurveyCTO. An excellent communicator and a collaborative team player, her personal ambition is to leverage evidence-based research to improve the lives of underserved populations.

Barrie Mansaray, MB ChB, MPH (Population, Family & Reproductive Health), is a highly accomplished Health Research Advisor with extensive expertise spanning clinical practice, public health, and applied research. With a solid foundation in medicine and advanced specialization in population and reproductive health, she brings a wealth of experience to the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based health programs and policies at RAMLabs.
Dr. Barrie Mansaray has worked in close collaboration with governments, non-governmental organizations, and academic institutions to generate high-quality research and actionable insights that shape health policies and strengthen systems. Through her work, she is deeply committed to bridging the gap between research and practice by translating evidence into effective, sustainable interventions that improve health outcomes at the population level.

Data and Knowledge Management Analyst
Jim has worked extensively in Research and Development in Sierra Leone and the larger Mano River region on high-impact programs with foreign research institutes, multilateral organizations, and government departments, including working with Innovations for Poverty Action and the Sierra Leone Urban Research Center and providing consulting services to the World Bank, the International Growth Center, World Vision International Sierra Leone, the Teaching Service Commission, the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary Education and the Environmental Protection Agency Sierra Leone.
Jim serves as data and knowledge management analyst at RAMLabs where his work contributes to strengthening knowledge management frameworks and informing evidence-based innovation and policy solutions.

As Water and Sanitation Advisor at RAMLABS, I provide strategic leadership in the design, implementation, and evaluation of WASH programs and research initiatives aimed at generating actionable evidence to inform policy and strengthen public health and sanitation systems. With over 14 years of experience leading large-scale WASH and public health initiatives across Sierra Leone, Liberia, and South Sudan, plus remotely managing projects and evaluations in Mali, Niger, and Bangladesh, I bring a wealth of expertise in program management, policy development, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building. My work focuses on advancing evidence-based solutions and fostering robust partnerships with governments, development partners, and communities to improve access to clean water, sanitation, and health outcomes.
I am a professional Civil Engineer and hold a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and am PMP-certified, equipping me with a strong foundation in development theory and practical project management within the WASH and public health sectors. This academic and professional background, combined with my extensive field experience, enables me to bridge research and practice effectively, ensuring that interventions are contextually relevant and sustainable. I am passionate about driving systemic reforms that create equitable and lasting improvements in water, sanitation, and hygiene opportunities for communities, aligning with RAMLABS’ mission to deliver impactful, evidence-driven solutions.

With over seven years of experience, I bring extensive expertise in socio-economic research and impact assessments spanning health, mining, child protection, and private sector development.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Research and Public Policy, complementing my strong background in field research management and stakeholder engagement. My technical skillset includes survey design and programming using platforms such as SurveyCTO and XLSForm Builder, as well as advanced data analysis using Excel, STATA, and SPSS to support real-time monitoring and evidence-driven decision-making.
I am also experienced in training and mentoring field teams, implementing rigorous quality assurance systems, and fostering collaborative partnerships to deliver actionable insights that inform policy and program interventions.

I provide technical field support, including mentoring and coaching of field enumerators, field coordination and supervision during data collection, Monitoring & Evaluation of field activities, strengthening data quality, and reporting of deliverables. I possess skills in monitoring and evaluation, digital data collection and analysis, report writing, and research design, and I am proficient with tools such as Kobo, SurveyCTO, advanced Excel, SPSS, and Power BI, among others. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance.
My professional journey began as a data collector, after which I advanced to the role of supervisor, and subsequently to my current position as a monitor, gaining extensive experience in field data collection, supervision, and monitoring processes.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Business Information Technology (BIT) and bring extensive experience in field supervision, community mobilization, and stakeholder engagement. My technical expertise spans database management systems (DBMS), management accounting, and data processing. I am proficient in using research and data collection tools such as SPSS and SurveyCTO to support evidence-based decision-making and high-quality program delivery.
